Andrew Mangan Executive Director Andrew Mangan is co-founder and executive director of the United States Business Council for Sustainable Development (US BCSD), a non-profit association of businesses launched in 2002 whose purpose is to create and deliver value driven sustainable development projects in the United States. Projects are member-led and designed to create value through economic returns and environmental and social benefits. Mr. Mangan holds a masters degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where he attended the Columbia School of International and Public Affairs as an International Fellow. He currently serves on the board of the Foundation for Sustainable Development, on the board of the Center for Resilience at Ohio State University, is a member of the Education Committee for the International Society of Industrial Ecology, and a member of the Advisory Committee for the Environmental Science Institute at the University of Texas at Austin.
Susan Fernandes Director of Operations Kieran Sikdar Technical Advisor Kieran Sikdar is a Technical Advisor with the United States Business Council for Sustainable Development (US BCSD), working to build effective by-product synergy networks. Kieran is actively involved in developing the Greater Houston By-Product Synergy Project in Houston, TX and the Ohio By-Product Synergy Network in Ohio.
Daniel Kietzer Office Coordinator Daniel joins the US BCSD with a background in nonprofit communication and development, and a passion for sustainable communities. Educated at the University of Texas at Austin, he hopes to contribute an in-depth knowledge of web-based technology and an enthusiasm for compelling content to the USBCSD. Daniel is quite active in the Austin, TX nonprofit community, having worked with various organizations on topics including cancer research and awareness, and the creation of local sustainable food systems. In his spare time, Daniel logs countless miles on his road bike and is an active member of the Austin rock climbing community. |
